This is the first of many children’s books I’m creating, each one designed to help boys see their own courage, kindness, and unique spark.
So many stories today skip what truly matters: helping kids believe in themselves from the inside out. My mission is to plant seeds of confidence, compassion, and healthy self-belief through relatable stories and heart-led lessons.
Each character faces real-life challenges, learning to pause, reflect, and respond in stronger, healthier ways. My hope is that every child who reads these stories sees a bit of themselves in the pages and walks away feeling braver, calmer, and more connected to who they are.
This isn’t a book of perfect heroes or easy wins.
It’s a book about real boys, with real feelings, real challenges, and the brave, sometimes messy moments that shape who they become.
Each story begins with an ordinary struggle, like frustration, fear, or self-doubt, and turns it into something powerful: a quiet transformation through awareness, connection, and courage.
Inside these pages, you’ll find laughter, heart, and practical life lessons woven into every adventure.
These aren’t fantasy tales with quick fixes or magic endings.
They are emotional journeys that help children see themselves in the characters and learn small, simple tools to handle big feelings, build confidence, and grow from within.

Benny dreamed of having the perfect puppy, calm, cuddly, and clever.
Instead, he got Rocket, a fluffy whirlwind that chews sneakers, chases socks, and tests every ounce of patience.
When frustration boils over, Benny learns from his sister a simple “Bonkers Moment Rescue Plan.”
One mindful breath at a time, he discovers that calm doesn’t start with the dog, it starts inside him.

Liam’s first week at a new school is filled with noise, nerves, and lonely lunchtimes.
Across the cafeteria, Kai spots him sitting alone and remembers what that feels like.
Summoning a spark of courage, he walks over and says the words that change everything: “Mind if I sit here?” That small act turns an empty seat into a friendship and shows how kindness can rewrite the story of someone’s day.

Toby thinks brave people never feel afraid. But when a lion crosses his path on safari, fear hits hard.
Guided by his uncle, Toby learns that courage isn’t about being fearless, it’s about breathing through the fear and taking the next small step anyway.
A story of shaky knees, big hearts, and the quiet kind of bravery that lasts long after the adventure ends.

Twins Milo and Marley can agree on almost everything except food.
When a dream takes them on a magical world tour of flavors, from samba-spiced rice to jerk-roti rolls, their playful rivalry turns into laughter and discovery.
Between kitchen messes and global tastes, they learn that creativity shines brightest when you stop comparing and start collaborating.
The world and life simply taste better when you try it together.
They help children recognise emotions, express themselves with confidence, and build empathy, resilience, and courage from the inside out.
Each story ends with reflection prompts and fun activities that give young readers real tools for emotional growth, all wrapped in humor, imagination, and heart. These are not fantasy adventures.
They are emotional adventures, stories that help children realise that courage, kindness, and confidence are not things they have to earn. They are already inside, just waiting to be found.

I’ve been working with young children for over ten years in schools, residential homes, and community projects.
I’m also a qualified counsellor and accredited life coach, and I’ve always been passionate about helping children understand their emotions and believe in themselves alongside supporting parents.
This book brings together the things I care most about: supporting children, telling meaningful stories, and helping them grow with confidence and build self-esteem.
I’ve learned that we all tell stories about ourselves, some that lift us up and some that hold us back. Reading the right stories can help us see life, and ourselves, in a new way.
As adults, many of us still live by stories we created in childhood, stories that may not even be true.
Through my Mind Shifting work, I help people rewrite those inner narratives so they can see themselves with more clarity, compassion, and freedom.
For me, every story, whether written or lived, is a chance to begin again.
As a Mind Shifting coach, I help people create deep and lasting change by working directly with the subconscious mind, where old patterns, emotions, and beliefs are stored.
Unlike traditional therapy that often involves talking about your problems, Mind Shifting takes a different approach. You do not need to analyse, re-live, or explain your story. We go straight to the root of the issue and clear it at the level where it began.
It is a fast and gentle process. In just a few minutes, often within ten, emotional blocks, Truama, Limiting beliefs can be cleared and replaced with clarity, calm, and relief. Many clients describe it as finally feeling free from something they have carried for years, without needing to talk their way through it.
Mind Shifting works through four levels of awareness: images, emotions, thoughts, and body sensations. When these layers align, your mind and body reset naturally.
This is not about fixing who you are. It is about releasing what is in the way so you can reconnect with who you have always been, confident, peaceful, and free.
